In 2001 our founder, Bill Carvalho, happened upon an exhibit at the Monterey Bay Aquarium that told the story of our oceans having reached their breaking point. Deeply moved by his visit, Bill changed the course of his original seafood business into the compassionate company that it is today. Born out of reverence for ocean life, Wild Planet exists to transform an industry to protect this incredible resource for generations to come.
